Di-Potassium phosphate is formed when two equivalents of potassium react with phosphoric acid until the desired PH is obtained. Solution is then further dried to get fine quality white powder. Di-Potassium phosphate also known as potassium hydrogen orthophosphate and potassium phosphate dibasic, is a highly water-soluble salt which is often used as a fertilizer, food additive and buffering agent. It is a common source of phosphorus and potassium.
